Height/Build: 4'9". Heavyset and mildly deformed, see further below.
Hair Color/Eye Color: Daaark brown. Gray.
Notable Traits: His spine is somewhat twisted and hunched, neck short, head outsized for the rest of him. As if a Zack-sized guy had been squished into a much shorter package by breaking his bones. He's big-boned, fairly well-muscled, and fat. Hair is probably shorter than in most of the icons to start with, but he may get that shaggy for lack of a good barber. At least he's shaving.

Other: The bones in both his legs have been replaced with high-tech synthetics, and he probably has scars from that, as well as various other surgeries, and possibly artificially created duplicates of Miles' battle scars. He got pretty expert medical treatment after he was tortured, so I'm going to...assume...that all that skin grew back clean? No facial scars or anything immediately obvious though.

Metaphysically speaking, completely normal human. (He is a clone, but from a hard sci-fi universe where the only difference between a clone and a human is where their DNA came from. No made-of-sound-or-darkness here.)

There may come a point when this space gets interesting for psychics, but not yet.

Body language is currently neutral, closed off, and somewhat wary. This will probably change in various ways as time goes on.

Getting to Mark's true heart is very difficult (but not impossible) right now, and I'll be adjusting my scoring to reflect that. The theme of this heartgame, and what players will be rewarded for, is categorization and labeling and identity formation(s), and this should become pretty clear IC.

As I mentioned during signups, there are triggers ALL OVER THIS HEART and you will be shunted pretty strongly towards the bad shit. Please ping me if there is something in particular you would prefer to avoid, for either your sake or your character's, and I will make sure to honor that.

There may also be points when you're forcibly transported deeper into the heart. If you would prefer to explore entirely freely, again, please ping me and I'll see what I can do. This is a large heart that seriously benefits from characters being spread out as much as possible, and there are areas that can only be explored alone, so there is intended to be a lot of teleporting characters around and breaking up parties; also Mark currently cannot avoid dealing with his trauma, so neither can you. I will always try not to interrupt you in the middle of something though.

Magical abilities will be turned off in this heart, and you will not retain any personal items upon entering. Unless of course those abilities are integral to your survival. Syaoran would not...cease to exist...due to the magical nullifying. But Ryner wouldn't be able to cast his magic, access Alpha Stigma, get possessified, etcetera.

So one of the goals of this heart is to give you the experience of being Mark Vorkosigan. It's unpleasant, and I am getting my evil game-master hat on and trying to mess with characters as much as possible, but I will not do some of this without player consent. So please comment here if you are okay with your character getting mindfucked in either of the following ways:

1. Nasty status effects: persistent severe pain, blind lust, significant changes in emotional affect, possibly some other equally intense things. This will only last through certain areas, but they could happen.

2. Seeing people from your own life substituted in certain traumatic situations. If you think this would be fun, please comment if there is anybody in your character's life/memories who fits into the following categories: a sibling figure with whom there is conflict but who you ultimately care for, a parental figure who is controlling or abusive in some fashion, a person your character failed to save or protect, and a somewhat vulnerable person who your character has the mad hots for.
